We're calling on all Canberrans and those in the surrounding region to ACTnow and help us raise much needed funds for the people of Queensland who have been impacted by the devastating floods.
The state is in chaos with rivers bursting their banks, thousands of homes partially or completely flooded, residents who have lost their lives and others missing. Thousands have been forced to evacuate and are residing in temporary shelters with whatever belongings they were able to pack.
Canberra FM and SERVICE ONE Members Banking are pleased to join in the relief effort and offer residents of the ACT and surrounding NSW with some options in terms of making donations.
Let's show just how much the ACT and surrounds cares for those impacted in QLD. Even a contribution of $1 per Canberran will mean we'll be sending $360,000 to those impacted. There are five ways you can make a donation:
A cash donation can be made at any SERVICE ONE Branch (or transfer from a SERVICE ONE account (for SERVICE ONE customers only)).
You can donate online using your Internet banking facility by following two simple steps:

Account name: ACTNOW QLD FLOOD APPEAL
Account number: 100010990(make sure you put your name in the reference/description field and record your transaction receipt number)
You can donate by credit card by completing the payment form and posting it to SERVICE ONE (details on form) or faxing to (02) 6215 7171.
A cheque or money order (made out to 'ACTnow QLD flood appeal') can be deposited at any SERVICE ONE Branch or sent to:
