Eligibilility to apply for a Citibank MyCard MasterCard?
SERVICE ONE Members Banking is a mutual financial services organisation and as such is owned by our Members, each one of whom is a shareholder. Therefore you must be our Member to be approved for a Citibank MyCard MasterCard Card. Learn about becoming our Member.^
Who can apply for a Citibank MyCard MasterCard?
If you are an Australian resident, over 18 years old, earning $15,000 or more a year, and a SERVICE ONE Members Banking Member, you can apply for a Citibank MyCard MasterCard. ^
What's the difference between a Silver and Gold Card?
You have the choice of applying for a Silver card or Gold card (subject to the minimum income criteria of $15,000 p.a. for a Silver card and $35,000 p.a. for Gold cards). The Gold card includes all the standard features, plus extra benefits such as a higher credit limit, access to BlueSky Rewards and free comprehensive travel insurance. How much can I borrow?
The maximum credit limit for a Silver card is $7,500 or $25,000 for a Gold card. However, your maximum credit card limit is determined by your ability to meet your repayments. Your limit must be agreed prior to use. ^
How do I earn Rewards points?
You earn one Rewards point for every dollar you spend using your MyCard MasterCard, so use it to pay for everyday shopping, household bills and more to accumulate points faster. Cash advances and balance transfers are excluded. Purchases made by additional cardholders on your account also ean you Rewards points.^
Do I have to pay to be part of the Rewards program?
No. There is no additional cost for the Rewards program. ^
How do I redeem points?
Customers should contact the Rewards Service Centre to redeem their points for rewards. The Rewards Service Centre can be contacted by phone on 1300 136 551. ^
What's the difference between Standard Rewards and BlueSky Rewards?
The Standard Rewards program offers a wide range of rewards including a great range of store vouchers, Take Flight, charity donations and much more. BlueSky Rewards offers all the rewards of the Standard program, plus the option to redeem points for Qantas Frequent Flyer points, and a range of other premium rewards. The BlueSky Rewards program is only available on Gold accounts. ^
Do BlueSky points automatically transfer to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program?
No, if you'd like to redeem BlueSky Rewards points for Qantas Frequent Flyer points you will need to contact the Rewards Service Centre to organise for the points to be transferred to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. If you're not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer Member, you will need to join the program before redeeming your BlueSky points for Qantas Frequent Flyer points. To join Qantas Frequent Flyer, you will need to contact Qantas directly. A joining fee applies. ^

If I'm currently enrolled in Standard Rewards, can I transfer to BlueSky Rewards?
Yes, if you are a Gold cardholder you may transfer from the Standard Rewards to BlueSky Rewards at any time. Upon transfer to the BlueSky Rewards program, points are converted at a rate of two Standard Rewards points to one BlueSky Reward point. For example, 1000 standard points equals 500 BlueSky points.
The higher annual card fee is charged on your next renewal date, and a pro-rata fee for the current year may apply.
Please note: Silver cardholders who wish to transfer to BlueSky Rewards must first request, and be approved, for a Gold card upgrade. ^
If I'm currently enrolled in BlueSky Rewards, can I transfer to Standard Rewards?
Yes, you are able to transfer from BlueSky to Standard rewards at any time. Upon transfer, points are converted at the rate of one BlueSky Reward point to one Standard Reward point. ^
How do I make repayments to my card?
You can make payments using BPAY (via Telephone banking or Internet banking), direct debit from your nominated SOMB transaction account, over the counter at Australia Post outlets (a fee applies) or by cheque. ^
What's the minimum amount I can pay?
$30 or 2% of the outstanding balance (whichever is the greater). ^
How often will I receive information on my account?
A statement, which details your account balance, available credit, transactions and payment due, will be issued monthly. In addition, all your account details are available at your fingertips by going to www.cardservicesdirect.com.au. ^
What security is required?
No security is required to take out a MyCard MasterCard. ^
What happens if I get sick, have an accident or lose my job?
The best way to obtain peace of mind that your repayment obligations will be met in the case of accident, illness or involuntary unemployment is to take out insurance, however it is not required. Learn more about our Loan Repayment Insurance.^
