Eligibility to open an account?
SERVICE ONE Members Banking is a mutual financial services organisation and as such is owned by our members, each one of whom is a shareholder. Therefore, you must be our member to open an account. Find out more about becoming our member.^
How much do I need to deposit to open an account?
The value of the deposit required varies with each account. Please refer to the key features section or contact one of our friendly staff who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
How do I manage my accounts?
You can manage your accounts and pay your bills electronically, through branch service, by cheque book - or any combination that suits you.
Our eLink (Internet) and Phonelink (telephone) banking services give you access to your accounts around the clock, every day of the year. This includes:
What fees are charged and how can I minimise them?
SERVICE ONE Members Banking will show you how to manage your accounts with minimal fees. For example, we don't charge any fees for deposits, and if your average balance for the month is greater than $1,000 you will not be charged the $4 Membership Service fee.
Most withdrawals attract a $1 fee however our family members are entitled to 5 free monthly withdrawals if they have one of the following accounts holders:
Junior account
Student account
Pension Deeming account
Day to Day Savings balances between $1,000 and $2,000
Centrelink Receipients

How do I make deposits to my account?
You can arrange to make deposits to your account either by direct credit of payroll or other income, transfer from another savings or transaction account, Internet or telephone banking transfer, over the counter at one of our branches and with a Redicard at any branch of Australia Post which has a Bank@Post facility (fees apply). How do I make withdrawals from my account?
Accessing your money will depend on the particular features of your account. Please refer to the key features section for details. If you require more information on each facility please refer to the accessing your money section of the site.
How often will I receive information on my account?
Statements are issued monthly or six monthly. Duplicate statements can be requested at any time from one of our branches.
Account balances and statements are also available through our eLink and Phonelink banking services.
